Solvang is a cute small Dutch town mid-way stop, between Los Angeles and Solvang, serving great food, beer, and pastries. It's a nice stop to refuel your tummy and play tourist for a few hours.

A very cute barn, about five minutes from the venue, where you and your children can feed barn animals, eat ice cream and pie.

Montaña de Oro Bluff Trail is a beautiful, easy 4 mile hike on the coast. Hints of blue, purple, and yellow wildflowers surrounded us. Take the time over the weekend to enjoy a coastal view, feel the flowers, and feel the sea water breeze on your face.

This about 20 minutes drive from the venue. This park is mostly flat for easy walking.

About five minutes drive from the venue. This is a small beach town with a few hotels and AirBnBs. There are many nice shops, restaurants and bars here to enjoy.

A short hike close to Avila Beach where you can enjoy the cliffs and a small cave.

A steep but fun hike along the cliff of Avila Beach. There are a few swings you can swing on.

This is about five minutes drive from the venue.

Downtown San Luis Obispo, with many cute shops, restaurants, coffee shops, bars.

Another nice beach town, about 15 minutes drive from the venue. There are more restaurants, bars, shops, hotels to enjoy. They are known for their clam chowder (Splash Cafe).
